Common cause brought you to join forces with Lestra, a shadow-like elf with a dedication in her eyes. Onni took 50 gp:s out from Drevan ir'Rooles purse and gave it to Keylan, to heal her brother.

At the morning, the rain had started again. In Lower Dura, you almost got pick-pocketed but quickly learned how to get around with no bigger problems. The Silvermist Theatre looked grand, but wracked. You slipped in to see that something is on, on the main stage.

Staged fight

Three cultist and their leader were working on a dark ritual on the stage. At the middle, there was an altar with a person tied on it. The heroes assaulted in, causing the cult to arrange to a battle formation, except for the arrogant leader who just posed up on the stage, shouting in an unknown language.

Unlike what Keylan told, the cultists were not bugbears, but a composition of hobgoblins and a human. When Lestra teleported next to the leader, she could immediately tell that that figure looked undead.

The fight intensified on the stage, on which some had easier time to jump on than the others. After the final blow, the leaders body melted away, leaving a rotting, warforged-esque frame of metal, stone and decayed wood in a pool of goo. The chest of the warforge-like frame opened and a small metal object flew out with great speed. Lestra nailed down a powerful strike on the object, damaging it. Still, with a fast flying speed it managed to get out of the doors before anyone could do more.

The lord awakes

Drevan ir'Roole was restored to his senses and you shared your story. He decided to trust you, especially after Onni gave his purse back to him. Nathaniel showed the letter the cult leader did carry: "kill Drevan ir'Roole when he next visits the Half-Pint Tavern. You will get 1000 gp for killing him there." The letter made an impression on the lord. After a while, he politely thanked each of you for his life and asked to join him on a new mission: to escort him back to his house as soon as possible.

Escape plan: walk through Lower Dura, take a lift up, to the nearest skycoach (this is a short rest for everyone), to the private docks of ir'Roole house. While closing the house, Alistair? or Nathaniel? was discussing with Drevan about security matters. That made Drevan to ask the skycoach driver to change course so that they land on a public dock near the house.

Max shows up

Walking towards the mansion, you spot a familiar figure hanging around. It's Max Murlock, walking this way. "So nice to see you got the job done", he says. Between Max and Drevan there is a moment, which ends immediately when Max says a secret word, "Lieksa".

Introducing Kemaal

"You will address him as lord", Kemaal told you (a bit later). "This is my personal secretary, her name is Kemaal. She really is my red hand... haha I mean right hand of course", Drevan makes the introductions.

Inside, you witness Drevan meeting with her wife Nora ir'Roole. Max asks for a reward of 5000 gp, which Nora would gladly accept to pay. That makes Max to claim to Drevan that her wife is an imposter.

It turns out that Max is right: the supposed wife will shapeshift to an unknown human woman and is no longer trying to play Nora ir'Roole. Kemaal learns that one of the gardeners just saw Nora ir'Roole escaping with a skycoach, from the private docks at the top of the mansion, heading east.

The chase is on. Drevan asks you to run after the skycoach and gives a feathered coin to all of you. "Run! Take my skycoach! Kemaal, arrange a driver for them! I'll send our forces to Terminus Station, that's where she is probably trying to go!"
