Meeting the captain

No invitation came, so the party decided to go and see Captain Soranna. "Iormel is in Terrelton. I've already sent a runner to get him back to Drellins' Ferry for a Town Council meeting." Considering your options, out in the rain, even a coup was mentioned. When you were about to return to the Toll House, one of the guards saw it.

Across the river, a flying monster was chasing civilians. Nix started to shoot, Onni and Dulcimer took off to fly over the river and Lestra jumped on the rope and started running.

It was a chimera, and it wasn't alone. The battle was fought between a squad of hobgoblin warrions, a warpriest and the chimera, against the four heroes and some unlucky civilians.

Highlights include

• Nix doing considerable amount of damage from a distance, being awed by the other shooters consisting of the town guard and captain Soranna
• Lestra running across the river on just a rope, also running back for a moment to put out a fire on that rope
• Onni making a heroic dive to mass cast a healing spell to save civilians and a heroic angel bombardment with his guardians
• Dulcimer managing not only to soundblaster the chimera and later the warpriest with his friend, but also giving a hypnotic pattern to certain individual

Chimera was cut in half by amazing smite from Lestras greatsword. Onni cast save the dead to make again a captive, from the warpriest.
