Onni:
"Mercenary groups. 30 axe-men, 20 axe-men, 5 cannons with crews, a steamtank with crew. 2 days to arrive in terrelton if hired. 750 each. You're paying?"

Captain Soranna:
"Can't pay, everything is in ruin. Terrelton won't hold the horde, need to fall back to Brindol. See you there. Any allies would be very much welcome"

Onni and Moneyworks Industries

The indifferent goblin engineer was made smooth by Onnis incredible success in small talk. You've got a friend for life here, brother! Wrianxia is a brown-skinned descendant from Dhakaani empire. She is a brilliant engineer and judging from numerous burning marks and bruises on her body, seems to be a survivor of several battles (or laboratory accidents). Wrianxia is a likeable person. She loves to listen and to talk and seems to know a little about everything. Excluding Onni, she is cautious for humans, though.

Lute and The Sword and Chalice

Bards know bards they say, and that is how Lute and Uldrina got along. Uldrina has a striking red, shining hair and with her flute, she often fills the air with pleasant notes. She has an excellent memory and like Wrianxia, she is a keen listener. Probably knows a lot of local matters and a lot of legends, too. Uldrina has twin brothers, who also have a striking red hair and a flute. Although they are better with their battle axes, they will often join Uldrina for musical sessions.

Ingotbrow and the Purple Hand

This is a memo from the meeting with Chief Banker and Senior Contract Administrator Krognel Ingotbrow.

"Tell me all about it."

You describe the encounter with the storm magic user, in the ghost lion temple.

"What do you remember about the idol that Onni you said you had a strong feeling it didn't belong in the complex?"

You describe the idol with tentacle eyes and a big maw.

"An eye tyrant you say, eh? I haven't seen a creature you just told me about, but an eye tyrant would sound a suitable name for it. All in all, your tale and description will go in line with our previous discoveries."

A moment of silence.

"Deep below, we have encountered horrors. I mean, truly aberrant horrors of madness and disgust of such a scale I can't even describe it. Creatures with tentacles, teeth, eyes, limbs, all mixed up, full of hatred to all natural life. They are lead by humanoid creatures that are terrible to watch and extremely dangerous. They are using magic that is otherwordly, I mean it is not arcane or divine. They have tentacles instead of a beard. You can't communicate with them. They will eat your brains. We call them mind flayers."

"On one such encounter, we got an enormous prize in form of a, well I can't go into the details but lets just say among the gold there were some other... items. Magic weapons and accessories that will... grow into you. We have decided to use their own magic against them."

When the meeting is over, you return to the matter Uldrina mentioned, the third arm.

"That is why I have this purple arm. Handy, wouldn't you say?"

Ingotbrow asks you to take this sending stone to report of any sightings related to the holy symbol you shown to him, regarding the cults of the dragon below or encounters with the aberrants.

Developments

Mercenary deals made:

• five cannons from Energy Invertor Limited, with captain Alfokoudrid Oakshoulder
• a steamtank from Moneyworks Industries, with master Wrianxia Afterthought

Cannons are drawn by ponies, steamtank goes on with it's own elemental power. Both have crew of four + a leader. Their speed is slow for travelling distance purposes.

When Uldrina learns about your plans to get in battle with the Red Hand, she announces that she will join you, and her brothers will join as well. No cost. Just for the sake of the fact.
