XX-XI

Overview

Encountering the lizardfolk. First sight of the tower of Rhest.

Boating around again

Two elven boats were borrowed from Starsong Hill. Trellara helped you on your way on the early morning of the day after her brother's funeral. When asked if she or someone could summon a water elemental using this dragonshard (to power the boats) she answered "we do not do such a thing in here". It was left unsure did she mean they do not bind elementals here or that they do not use dragonshards here.

All the sudden, while rowing the boats in the middle of the wastelands, the Ghostlord appeared, sitting in the empty seat of the boat shared by Lute and Lestra. He knew about the history of Rhest, seemed to know something about harrowblades aka the Reds and Blues and acknowledged his connection with Sellyria. Ghostlord general view on her was "beware her good will! She would not hesitate one moment to destroy worlds in fire. Such is her believe, even though she calls herself a friend of nature and keeper of secrets and blaah-blaah jaada-jaada". Perhaps the faith of Rhest or memories of Sellyria made him to disappear almost as fast as he came.

At the rain, Nix navigated you a bit off course. An encounter with a shambling mound was saved by Lestras perceptive sight, to be able to avoid crashing right into it. Further encounters with these plant-beast were easy to avoid, as now you knew how they look like in this environment.

Saurials aka the lizardfolk

Nix swam ahead in they dwarven persona to an island with a hut. There was a single lizardfolk member in an otherwise empty hut. Lizardfolk are speaking only Dragonic, so it was Lute's magical language abilities that were needed for a conversation. It turned out that Brukiszra was quite interested in dreams and did became a bit reserved when you told that you've recently seen weird dreams.

"Those are not dreams. You are hallusinating" Brukiszra said when Nix and Alistair described their necklace dream to they. Also a discussion went on Siberys, as how her pearls are shattered around like a necklace.

Brukiszra suggested you'd spend a night in this hut. Alistar send an arcane eye to follow the lizardfolk, it looked like they went from island to island to drop a word for fellow Saurials.

The dream, or I should say that dream, came again to the one who hadn't seen it for the second time. So now Nix, Onni and Alistar you all have seen two times the same compulsive dream regarding the moment you'll find that certain necklace.

Next morning you continued rowing, until you saw a circle of lizardfolk huts around a big lake, of which had some stone structures in the middle. The ruins of Rhest are finally in sight.

Developments

The sun is setting in a hour. Ahead of you is a hut that looks like Brukiszra's hut, yet this looks like newly-built. The shores of the lake is circled by a dozen similar huts. Next hut to north looks like to be different from others, consisting of three huts connected together.

Far ahead you can see a stone tower next to some minor stone buildings, raising up from the water.
